Our school takes children from wide ranging backgrounds. We value each individual, their uniqueness and the contribution they make to our school community. We believe that everyone has equal worth regardless of race, gender, creed and ability and whether they have physical, sensory, emotional, specific or general needs. We also believe in educating our pupils about equality and have high expectations with regards to mutual respect and equality.

More Able Pupils
St. Nicholas School aims to provide a secure and challenging environment, which stimulates the development of all its pupils, enabling them to develop their full potential, be that intellectual, physical, creative, emotional, spiritual or social. All pupils have individual needs, which put personalised learning at the heart of our teaching and learning. Within St Nicholas school community there are pupils of very high general ability or who have specific talents, who need to be challenged and given the opportunity to develop at an appropriate level and pace. We provide opportunities to identify and, in turn, nurture these children.
